Model collectors with an eye for a bargain will appreciate this Hesket-Ford 308B diecast model car produced in 1:43 scale. Modelled on the car in which James Hunt won his first F1 race, the 1975 Dutch Grand Prix, it measures approximately 11.5cm in length and is pre-built, ready to be displayed.
Constructed with a die-cast metal body, this Hesketh-Ford F1 model car includes plastic parts for several components including aero parts, wheels, tyres, and the interior. The livery is reproduced with a painted finish along with realistic decals of the badges and markings to complete the look of this credible F1 model.
Although the detail and finish fall short of that found on more expensive branded models, we consider that at around a third of their price, this model is exceptional value and is perfect for savvy adult model car collectors either just starting out or growing their collection for minimal cost.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a new unbranded Partwork (ex. magazine) model that was produced on behalf of a publisher by a major manufacturer or a subsidiary company, although not necessarily to their usual standards; it may have slight paint blemishes, decals and printing may not be perfect and the castings and tooling used may not be quite as precise as more recent releases. This model is supplied in an acrylic display case within a card-backed blister which could have dents, scuffs and light scratches as well as having possibly been opened.
