How Pre-Orders Work

Step 1: Place your pre-order

  • Add the item to your basket and complete checkout.
  • A 10% deposit will be taken.
  • A valid payment method must be provided.

Step 2: Wait for stock

  • We will keep you updated where possible.
  • Release dates may change as they depend on manufacturers.

Step 3: Balance payment

  • When your item is ready, we will attempt to take the remaining balance.
  • We may notify you before this happens.

Step 4: Dispatch

  • Once payment is successful, your order will be dispatched.
  • You will receive confirmation and tracking details.

Payment Notes

  • We cannot accept full payment at the time of pre-order or early balance payments due to payment provider and regulatory requirements.
  • If we cannot collect the balance, we will hold your item for 3 days while we attempt to contact you.

Full Pre-Order Terms

1. General

  • Release dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
  • Items may be delayed, brought forward, or cancelled by manufacturers.
  • A valid payment method must be provided at checkout.

2. Pricing

We aim to honour the advertised pre-order price wherever possible. However, in some cases, manufacturers or suppliers may increase prices before release.

  • Where this occurs, we may need to adjust the final balance price.
  • If you do not wish to proceed at the revised price, you may cancel your pre-order for a full refund of any payments made.

Trade pricing, trade account discounts, and other business pricing arrangements are not available on pre-order products unless expressly stated otherwise.

3. Product Specifications

Pre-order items are based on manufacturer information at the time of listing.

  • Specifications may change before release, including:
    • Colour or livery
    • Packaging
    • Materials or finish
  • Such changes are outside of our control and do not constitute a fault.

If a change is significant and you do not wish to proceed, you may cancel your pre-order.

4. Deposits

A 10% deposit is required to secure your pre-order.

  • If you cancel within 14 days, your deposit will be refunded in full.
  • After 14 days, we may retain all or part of the deposit where this reflects reasonable costs or losses, including:
    • Administration
    • Supplier commitments
    • Difficulty reselling the item

Where possible, we may refund the deposit less a reasonable deduction.

5. Balance Payments

  • The remaining balance will be collected when the item is ready for dispatch.
  • If payment cannot be collected:
    • We will hold the item for 3 days.
    • We may contact you to arrange payment.

If payment is not received, the order may be cancelled.

6. Cancellations (Consumers)

You may cancel your pre-order at any time.

  • Within 14 days of placing the order — full deposit refund.
  • After 14 days — deposit may be retained in line with Section 4.

7. Cancellations Due to Non-Payment

If your order is cancelled because payment is not completed:

  • This will be treated as a cancellation by you.
  • The deposit may be retained where reasonable.

8. Allocation and Supply

  • Pre-orders are fulfilled on a first come, first served basis.

Due to manufacturer limitations, we may:

  • Receive reduced quantities.
  • Have orders cancelled by suppliers.

Where this happens:

  • Affected orders will be cancelled.
  • All payments made will be refunded in full.

9. Cancellations by Us

We may cancel or refuse a pre-order where reasonably necessary, including:

  • Supplier shortages or allocation changes.
  • Pricing errors.
  • Suspected fraud or high-risk transactions.
  • Bulk or trade-related concerns.
  • A previous history of unpaid balances, failed balance payments, non-response to payment requests, repeated cancellations, or other account activity that creates a reasonable risk that the order may not be completed.

Where we cancel your order, any payments made for that order will be refunded in full.

This does not affect any separate rights we may have in relation to previous unpaid, cancelled, or uncompleted orders.

10. Business Customers (B2B)

Trade pricing is not available on pre-order products unless expressly agreed by us in writing. Where a business customer places a pre-order without trade pricing, the following terms apply:

  • Deposits are non-refundable, except where we cancel the order.
  • Pre-orders cannot be cancelled without our agreement.
  • Full payment may be required before dispatch.

If balance payment is not made:

  • The order will be cancelled.
  • The deposit will be retained in full.

Liability (B2B)

We are not liable for:

  • Loss of profit.
  • Loss of business.
  • Loss of opportunity.

Our liability is limited to the value of the goods supplied.

11. Bulk Orders and Order Classification

To manage limited stock and ensure fair availability:

We may treat an order as a business or trade purchase where there is reasonable evidence, including:

  • Large quantity pre-orders.
  • Repeated orders of the same item.
  • Requests for bulk supply.
  • Known resale activity.

For such orders, we may:

  • Limit quantities.
  • Require additional deposits.
  • Refuse or cancel orders.
  • Apply business terms.

12. General Conditions

  • We reserve the right to limit, refuse, or cancel orders where reasonably necessary to protect stock availability, manage allocation, prevent misuse of the pre-order system, or reduce avoidable losses.
  • Any decision to cancel or refuse an order will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Final Note

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
