1. Who Can Leave a Review

Reviews should be submitted only by customers who have purchased, received or genuinely experienced the relevant product or service.

To help verify authenticity, we may compare information such as:

  • order number;
  • customer name;
  • email address;
  • product purchased;
  • other information reasonably available to us.

If we cannot reasonably verify a review, we may request further information or decide not to publish it.

2. How Reviews Are Published

  • We aim to publish genuine reviews regardless of rating.
  • Reviews are published with the rating submitted by the reviewer.
  • We do not normally edit the substance of a review.
  • We may make minor formatting changes or remove personal information, profanity or content that breaches this policy.

3. Review Moderation

We may refuse, moderate or remove reviews that:

  • contain abusive, threatening, discriminatory or unlawful content;
  • are unrelated to the product or service reviewed;
  • appear misleading, inaccurate or incapable of reasonable verification;
  • appear to be fake, impersonated or not based on genuine experience;
  • appear to have been generated wholly or substantially by artificial intelligence rather than reflecting genuine customer experience;
  • duplicate another review;
  • are submitted in error; or
  • are removed at the reviewer's request where reasonably practicable.

4. Verification and Fake Reviews

We use reasonable and proportionate measures to help ensure reviews are genuine. Where concerns arise, we may:

  • request additional information from the reviewer;
  • check purchase records;
  • carry out other reasonable verification checks; or
  • decline or remove the review where authenticity cannot reasonably be established.

5. Incentivised Reviews

From time to time we may invite customers to leave a review after making a purchase.

Any invitation is intended to encourage honest feedback and is not conditional on leaving a positive review.

If a reviewer has received an incentive or has a personal or commercial relationship with us, we may identify this where appropriate.

6. Customer Photos and Review Content

If you submit photographs or other content with a review, you confirm that you own the content or have permission to share it.

You retain ownership of your review content. By submitting it, you grant Diecast Model Centre Ltd a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce and use the review and accompanying images for legitimate business purposes, including our website, marketing materials, email communications and social media.

7. Privacy

Any personal information submitted as part of a review will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Legal Compliance

We aim to operate our review system in accordance with applicable UK consumer protection legislation and current regulatory guidance on online reviews. We regularly review our moderation processes to help ensure reviews remain fair, transparent and reliable.
