Please note: This display case is available only as an add-on when purchasing an in-stock model from us. Pre-order models do not qualify. A maximum of three display cases may be purchased for each qualifying model ordered. Cases ordered separately or above this limit may be removed from the order and refunded.
This inexpensive display case is ideal for protecting and displaying a budget-priced 1:43 scale model car.
The clear acrylic cover offers reasonable clarity and fits snugly onto the black plastic plinth, helping to keep out dust and reduce the risk of accidental damage.
Available in standard and high-top variants, the case will accommodate models up to the size of most 1:43 scale cars. The acrylic cover is also a direct fit for the plinths supplied with many partwork models.

In fairness DMC do state that these cases do not have their own packaging and may have some minor marks. That is very true about the case I received (see images). Scratched and low quality plastic. I may have been unlucky but you might prefer to buy a case that comes in some sort of protective film/box of its own.

Good quality, only thing would be that the raised part in the middle makes the model slip around quite a bit. But overall satisfied
Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review of this case. We would advise using the screw that mounted the model in the cardboard box is also used to secure the model to the case base; this will allow adjustment back and forth on the base before fully tightened and once that is done it won't move apart from a few degrees of rotational movement being possible by hand - it definitely won't slip around on its own.

Which case will fit this size car the best please?
Length 5 inches (125mm)...width 2.75 inches (70mm)...height...2.5 inches (60mm)

I would suggest looking at the 1:43 scale cases, they will be a good fit for the length and width,. However, it may be a bit tight on the height which will look a tad odd. The best choice would be one of our MAG high top cases (https://diecastmodelcentre.co.uk/products/display-case-for-1-43-scale-model-cars?variant=43710708023552), but they are currently out of stock and we don't know when more will be available.
