Our Opinion:

The wheel deflectors on these models appear to be a fragile component, secured only by two small glue spots. We've undertaken a repair, but it hasn't met our full satisfaction. While the model remains suitable for display, it is no longer in pristine condition, and we wouldn't recommend it as a gift due to the repair.

Model Damage:	The front right wheel deflector came loose during delivery to our customer. We’ve repaired it, though not as perfectly as we hoped. The glue has slightly discoloured the back of the deflector, and there's a small amount of residue on the top. Part of the papaya edge banding has also worn away on the rear of the deflector. There’s also some glue residue on the inner edge of the tyre, but this can be hidden by rotating the tyre

New shape Defender

Hubby is desperate for the new shape Defender which is a lottery win car for us, so got him the model car with his own private plate as a jokey present for his birthday today. He is absolutely delighted with it and it has pride of place on the window sill. The car is fab, much bigger than expected and the communication and service from Diecast Model Centre absolutely superb. Gold stars would highly recommend
